Irrawaddy Princess II River Cruise is a traditional Myanmar riverboat traveling along the Irrawaddy River. Built in 1998 and It is measure 134' x 34' x 6'6'' moulded depth with three decks. Day 1 (Monday) Mandalay – Yandabo (76 MILES)![]() Embarkation time is 09:00 at Shwekyetyet Jetty (Mandalay). Welcome Drink and briefing. Cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. We see the pottery making process at various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Royal Burmese House-hold of Ava. Shore excursion time is 1 hour. Back to board and cast off. Lunch and dinner on board. Moor overnight on board. Day 2 (Tuesday) Yandabo Village - Bagan (63 MILES)In the morning, visit Shwetantit and continue sailing downstream and arrive to Bagan approximately round noon. Remarks : Sightseeing may be changed due to the water level and weather condition. Every effort will be made to visit Pokokku and Shwetantit, but should river and other local conditions do not permit us to make there stop, an alternative stopping place will be made. |
Day 1 (Monday) Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing (21 MILES)![]() Embarkation time is 10:00 at Shwekyetyet Jetty (Mandalay), Welcome Drink and briefing. Sail upstream for about one and half hour we arrived at the MINGUN Pagoda Complex. Well known short trip to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell, weighting 90 tones and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world and the "Home For The Aged". After lunch on board and continues downstream to Sagaing. Visit to Sagaing for about Two & half hour's excursion by coach.Visiting the most important Buddhist Religion site. Day 2 (Tuesday) Sagaing - Yandabo Village (57 MILES)In the morning, cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing Yandabo Village. After a short excursion, return back on board. Moor overnight near Yandabo Village. Day 2 (Friday) Yandabo Village - Sagaing (57 Miles)In the morning, cruising downstream to Yandabo Village.
